It is nearing the end of the year and we, Dennis Fong & Co., Solicitors (in association with Llinks Law Offices), wish to finish it strong by unveiling promotions from within the firm. It is thus with great pride and pleasure that we announce Bosco Leung’s promotion to the rank of partner and Doris Wong’s promotion to counsel. These well-deserved promotions underline our continuous effort to focus on areas of practice that are of increasing importance to our clients and reflect our appreciation for the invaluable contribution of those who have consistently demonstrated their dedication, leadership, ability and commitment to provide exemplary client service. 

 

Bosco Leung has played an integral role in the firm’s corporate and cross-border practice and has been instrumental in offering our clients the breadth and depth of expertise that we are known for. With over ten years of experience in corporate finance practice gained working at reputable local law firms, Bosco is experienced in advising issuers and sponsors/underwriters on initial public offerings (“IPO”) and listings on the Main Board and GEM of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“Hong Kong Stock Exchange”), and has participated in numerous IPO projects. His practice also includes advising on compliance issues of listed companies and handling discloseable transactions and connected transactions by listed companies.

 

Bosco joined us in 2017 upon completing his further study in New York and has immediately demonstrated his value to our team by his distinctive skills and legal acumen. From 2018 to 2020, he has advised on the successful listing of 5 projects, with the latest being that of Bright Future Technology Holdings Limited (Stock code: 1351), a mobile advertising service provider in China, which our firm acted both as drafting counsel and as legal adviser as to the laws of Hong Kong to the issuer.

 

In addition to being admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong, Bosco is also admitted as an attorney of the State of New York, the United States of America. He is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong where he received both his Bachelor of Social Sciences and Bachelor of Laws degrees and he earned a Master of Laws degree cum laude from Fordham University.

 

Doris Wong joined us in 2019 from a leading Chinese law firm in Hong Kong, bringing with her incredible skills and expertise to our corporate finance practice. Doris has a wealth of experience advising issuers and sponsors/underwriters on IPOs and listings on the Main Board and GEM Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. She has participated in numerous successful IPO projects, serving clients across a wide range of industry sectors such as financial leasing, construction, property management, food and beverage, garment, financial printing, travel agency and biometrics identification solutions. Her practice also covers debt issuance, mergers and acquisition, general commercial and compliance matters.

 

Doris is admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manchester.
