On 16 August 2023, Llinks partners Mr. Bosco Leung, Mr. Alex Huang, Ms. Candice Du, Ms. Cherri Che and Mr. Bernie Liu attended the 2023 Annual Conference of In-House Lawyers (the ‘Conference’) upon the invitation of The Law Society of Hong Kong.
With the theme of ‘From In-house Connector to Super-Connector’, the Conference brought together dignitaries of the Hong Kong SAR government and legal professionals from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (the ’GBA’) to discuss a series of cutting-edge topics including ‘Impacts of National Development Plans on Business and the In-House Legal Profession’, ‘When There are No Borders: Dispute Resolutions Across Jurisdictions’, ‘Rising Opportunities for In-House Lawyers with the Emergence of Mainland Enterprises’, ‘Advance Your IP Literacy as Hong Kong Develops Into a Regional IP Trading Centre’, and ‘Gear Up for IPO Market Revival in the World’s Top Listing Destination’. Mr. Paul Lam Ting-kwok, SBS SC, JP, the Secretary for Justice, HKSAR and Mr. Chak-ming Chan, the President of The Law Society Hong Kong, both attended the Conference and delivered keynote speeches.
