Summary

Dennis obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree and Post-graduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. Dennis is a solicitor admitted to practice in Hong Kong and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales (non-practising) in 2007.

Experience

Dennis has more than 20 years' experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, corporate restructuring and general corporate finance and commercial matters, including advising issuers and sponsors/underwriters on initial public offerings and listings on the Main Board and GEM of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Llinks, Dennis had served in various major international law firms in Hong Kong.

Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Corporation Limited (stock code: 6122)   Independent non-executive director and member of each of the risk management committee and the nomination committee of the board of directors (June 2021 up to now)

• Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Corporation Limited (the “Bank”) is the first CBRC-approved commercial bank in Northeast China. The Bank was named a “Model Rural Commercial Bank in China” by the CBRC in 2013 and 2015.


Lump Sum Grant Independent (“LSG”) Complaints Handling Committee of Labour and Welfare Government   Vice Chairman (April 2021 up to now)

The LSG Independent Complaints Handling Committee is established:

• to receive LSG-related complaints against NGOs which cannot be satisfactorily resolved at the NGO level; to handle LSG-related complaints such as misuse of subventions and NGO's non-compliance with service requirements.


Hong Kong ProServices under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries Vice Chairman (July 2023 up to now)

• Hong Kong ProServices Council operates under the auspices of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. It is a non-manufacturing group with a majority of members in financial, legal and accounting fields.


Disciplinary Panel A of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”)   Member (February 2020 up to now)

• The HKICPA is the statutory licensing body of accountants in Hong Kong, responsible for, amongst other things, the promulgation of standards on financial reporting, auditing and assurance, and accounting ethics standards. Disciplinary Panel A consists of lay persons appointed by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury under the authority delegated by the Chief Executive.


Appeal Panel of Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (“HKPC&SAPD”)   Member (March 2021 up to now)

• The HKPC&SAPD is an athlete-centred organization that supports and enables athletes at all levels to achieve sporting excellence. The Appeal Panel is established to adjudicate any appeals arising from the verdicts determined by the Athlete Disciplinary Panel in accordance with the HKPC&SAPD Athlete Code of Conduct.
