Before joining us, Tony practised in the Hong Kong office of two US law firms, Dewey & Leboeuf LLP and K&L Gates LLP. Tony has accumulated over ten years of legal experience in securities offerings, corporate finance, corporate reorganization, cross border mergers and acquisitions and compliance related matters in Hong Kong and the mainland China.

• Providing legal advice on listing and reverse takeover for companies from various industries including education group, aluminium processing enterprises, real estate development companies, mobile games developers, advertising companies and garment processing enterprises. 

Recent mergers and acquisitions experience includes

• Advising Chinanx Financial Group, a PRC investment group, in its strategic investment in NordAq, Inc., an Alaskan oil and gas developer, for up to US$90 million in cash

• Advising China Development Bank International Holdings Limited in a US$130 million private equity investment in a spin-off of the China business of Global Logistic Properties, a Singapore-listed warehouse operator with interests in China, Japan and Brazil

• Advising China Aviation Industry General Aircraft, the general aviation arm of AVIC, acquiring Cirrus, the second largest general aircraft manufacturer in the U.S.

• Advising Fosun Group and a consortium of investors’ proposed multi-billion dollar investment in AIA through a pre-IPO strategic investment

• Advising the subsidiary of Xtep Group on several acquisitions and sale of interest in foreign investment enterprises in the PRC

• Advised several renowned securities and fund companies in the PRC on its investment in Hong Kong listed companies and offshore companies
