Ms. Selena She received her LL.B. and LL.M. degree from Fudan University School and the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.  Selena obtained the lawyer’s qualification in China in 1993, and was admitted to practice in the State of California and the State of New York in 1997, and Hong Kong SAR in 2020. Prior to her joining Llinks as a partner in 2012, Selena’s experience had included more than ten years practice in the Silicon Valley, over three years with the Silicon Valley and Shanghai Offices of Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe, and a number of years with renowned PRC firms and companies. 

Selena’s key areas of practice include Corporate and Foreign Direct Investment, Intellectual Property and Technology License, Fund Formation and Establishment, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital, PRC Real Estate and Real Estate Finance.

Selena specializes in the representation of Chinese and foreign investors and financial institutions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, finance and strategic investments corporate finance, private equity investment, strategic investments, cross-border transactions and real estate development transactions.  She has advised a wide variety of clients, including leading investment banks, investment funds, Fortune 500 companies and various private equity funds on their investments in China.  The clients she represented include Schroders, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, RREEF/Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of Construction, Sequoia, IDG, CPE, CDH, SummitView, Walden, Capital Today, Samsung, Whirlpool, Unifrax, SinoChem, Sinda, etc.; and spread over various industries and fields, including investment, finance, hi-tech, media, telecom, internet, real estate, energy, auto, education, medical, food, manufacturing, retail and consumer, etc.  Attributable to her extensive experience, Selena has profound understanding of various clients’ needs; which was recognized by various ranking institutions in the legal industry, including Chambers Global Leading Lawyers, Chambers Asia Leading Lawyers, & the Legal 500, etc.
