Before Tommy joined our firm as an associate he was a Certified Public Accountant with 10 years of experience in business advisory and taxation services. He was admitted to membership of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2012 and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2016. Since Tommy commence his legal career, he has accumulated experience in corporate and commercial dispute resolution matters including but not limited to IPO projects, post-listing compliance, cross-border M&A and commercial litigation matters. 

Tommy graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2019 and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong in 2020.

Tommy is fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). 

Previous equity capital market and post-listing compliance experience includes:

• Representing Goldlink Capital (Corporate Finance) Limited, the sole sponsor to the transfer of listing of Best Linking Group Holdings Limited (stock code: 9882) from GEM to Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange;

• Advising Baiying Holdings Group Limited (stock code: 8525) on its post-listing compliance matters;

• Advising Magnus Concordia Group Limited (stock code: 1172) on its post-listing compliance matters;

• Advising Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed companies on very substantial disposal transaction in relation to disposal of properties, connected transactions, capital restructuring, and other post-listing compliance matters

Previous corporate and other experience includes:

• Assisting A-share listing applicants in conducting legal due diligence and issuing legal opinions on their Hong Kong subsidiaries in support of their intended A-share listing applications;

• Assisting clients in the setting up of Hong Kong companies, amending articles of association and shareholders’ agreement
